Leila Bouldin, MSW
Supervisee in Social Work
Psychotherapist
Leila is a Supervisee in Social Work who is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with themselves while navigating life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and hope. She has experience working across a variety of mental health settings, including intensive in-home services, mental health skill-building, residential treatment, community mental health, and outpatient therapy. Throughout her career, she has supported children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions.
Leila's therapeutic approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic. She believes that healing involves caring for the mind, body, and nervous system while recognizing that each person's journey is unique. She incorporates evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based practices, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions. She enjoys helping clients develop greater self-awareness, build healthier relationships, regulate emotions, and cultivate self-compassion.
As a therapist, Leila views her role as a guide and collaborator rather than someone who has all the answers. She believes clients are the experts on their own lives, and together they can explore patterns, identify strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. Her goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable, empowered to grow, and equipped with practical tools they can use beyond the therapy room.

Outside of the therapy room, I value living a life rooted in balance, mindfulness, and continued growth. I am currently a Yoga Teacher in Training and a Reiki Master, both of which have deepened my appreciation for the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. While my therapy practice is grounded in evidence-based treatment, these experiences have strengthened my belief that healing often happens when we learn to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and care for our whole person.
I also enjoy reading, journaling, spending time in nature, exploring new coffee shops, and continuing to learn about psychology, wellness, and personal development. I believe we are always growing, and I strive to bring authenticity, curiosity, and compassion into both my personal life and my work with clients.
A Few Favorites:
Favorite way to recharge: Yoga, journaling, or spending time outdoors
Favorite reminder: "Healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about coming home to yourself."
Favorite part of being a therapist: Witnessing clients discover strengths they didn't know they had.
