Destiny Spain is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about providing clients with a safe, non-judgmental space to heal and grow. Destiny believes in using a client centered perspective and meeting her client’s where they are. Destiny believes in being authentic and genuine with her clients to assist them in feeling more comfortable throughout the therapeutic process. Destiny likes to utilize the client’s interests throughout the therapeutic process to make therapy easier, comfortable, engaging, and understandable for the client. She likes to incorporate art and play therapy techniques along with talk therapy.

Destiny has experience working as an outpatient therapist with a specialization in trauma therapy. Destiny has worked for domestic violence agencies, a human trafficking agency, the courts, and providing support groups for LGBTQ+ adolescents. Destiny works with children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and adults.

Destiny believes that healing is a journey that individuals go through. She is committed to and passionate about assisting individuals as they are on their healing journey. Destiny’s goal as a therapist is to provide guidance and empowerment and to assist you in learning the skills needed to navigate your individual journey of healing and growth. Destiny utilizes trauma informed interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, creative therapies, and pulls from many other modalities to best meet the needs of each individual client.
