Ashley Clinton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adolescents (ages 14+), adults, and older adults. Since 2018, Ashley has provided outpatient counseling services, helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and other challenges with greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.
Before becoming a therapist, Ashley spent more than a decade working in higher education, where she provided counseling, academic support, disability services, and helped develop a healthcare career pipeline program. These experiences gave her a deep appreciation for the many transitions people experience throughout life and continue to shape her compassionate, holistic approach to therapy.
Ashley believes that meaningful therapy begins with a genuine connection. She views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership where clients are the experts on their own lives, and her role is to provide guidance, support, and practical tools to help them reach their goals. She is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be their authentic selves while building insight, strengthening resilience, and creating lasting, meaningful change.
Ashley's therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and tailored to each client's unique needs. She utilizes an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and Person-Centered Therapy. She strives to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward a life that aligns with their values and personal definition of wellness.
When you work with Ashley, you are entering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, curiosity, and respect. Together, you will identify your strengths, increase self-awareness, develop practical skills, and navigate life's challenges with confidence and authenticity.

Outside of the therapy office, Ashley is an enthusiastic gardener and plant lover who is often happiest with her hands in the dirt. She enjoys spending time with family, learning new things, and enthusiastically collecting new hobbies; though she jokes that not all of them make it to completion.
Much of her free time is spent keeping up with three dogs, two cats, and seven chickens, which ensures there is never a shortage of activity or entertainment. She values lifelong learning and believes personal growth is a process that continues well beyond the therapy room.
