Julia is a provisionally licensed clinical social worker and is passionate about helping others process experiences, emotions, relationships, and life transitions and gain the confidence to navigate issues in the way that helps them heal and thrive. She believes that a critical part of healing involves having a space to explore emotions and experiences without judgment, challenging oneself to grow while still experiencing a sense of safety. Julia is committed to providing this type of space for clients
Julia has experience working with children, adult individuals, and couples. Julia believes that our identities play a critical role in our self-understanding and how trauma or difficult experiences impact us, and welcomes clients who seek to explore various aspects of identity in therapy. Julia draws from a mix of CBT, IFS, and motivational interviewing. Above all, she values each client’s unique identity and emphasizes using the tools and approaches that work best for each individual.

Julia’s clinical interests include, but are not limited to: Couples counseling, trauma, family of origin concerns, generalized and social anxiety, improving self-esteem, and LGBTQ+ community.
